A day after military commanders of the India and China met to deliberate on the ongoing standoff in Ladakh, the Chinese Army released a video on Sunday showing thousands of soldiers engaging in an exercise on the Indo-China border. Posted on the internet by Global Times, a state-run media outlet, the video shows hundreds of soldiers of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) along with a PLA Air Force airborne brigade performing military exercises.
ग्लोबल टाइम्स और चीन के सीसीटीवी चैनल की रिपोर्ट्स को मानें तो चीन की पीएलए यानी पीपुल्स लिबरेशन आर्मी ने एक मैन्युवर-ऑपरेशन के जरिए अपने सेंट्रल प्रांत, हुबेई से हजारों की तादाद में सैनिकों को सिविल एयरक्राफ्ट, ट्रैन और बसों के जरिए भारत सीमा से सटे हाई-ऑल्टिट्यूड रिजन में भेजने की ड्रिल की. लेकिन ग्लोबल टाइम्स की जो वीडियो-रिपोर्ट सामने आई है उसे देखकर ऐसा लगता है कि ये एक वीडियो-शूट है. क्योंकि सैनिकों की वर्दी पर एक भी सिलवट नहीं है, जबकि हुबेई प्रांत चीन का मध्य-प्रांत है और वहां से लद्दाख से सटी एलएसी करीब करीब चार हजार किलोमीटर की दूरी पर है.
